In the village of Martove, the team of the Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation continues to provide medical assistance to people who have long been without access to essential healthcare services.

After the community lost its only doctor, it became much more difficult for residents to receive medical care. Most of the population consists of older adults, including many people with limited mobility who are unable to travel to a hospital on their own.

"We haven't had a doctor here for a long time. To get a medical examination, we had to travel to Kharkiv and hire transportation. It is very important that doctors now come to our village. People truly need this," says Nadiia, a resident of Martove.

During each visit, the family doctor performs medical examinations, measures blood pressure and blood glucose levels, conducts electrocardiograms (ECGs), provides consultations at the local outpatient clinic, and visits immobile patients at home.

Our mobile medical teams visit the community every two weeks and remain in close contact with local residents. If the need continues to grow, we are prepared to increase the frequency of our visits so that people can receive timely and essential medical care.
