Maternity Hospital No. 3 Receives a Solar Power Plant from the Peaceful heaven of Kharkiv CF
Kharkiv Maternity Hospital No. 3 has been equipped with an automated solar power system valued at over 1 million UAH. This assistance was provided by the Peaceful heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation in partnership with UNICEF.
The solar power plant, installed on the hospital's roof, has a capacity of 31 kW. It will help save electricity and ensure uninterrupted operation during power outages. The automated power system includes an inverter, 54 solar panels, and a set of protective equipment.
“The administration of Maternity Hospital No. 3 sincerely thanks the Peaceful heaven of Kharkiv Foundation for installing and connecting solar panels to our facility's power grid. During the day, this allows us to save up to 25% of the electricity we consume. This is crucial for stable operations, especially during these challenging times,” said the hospital’s medical director, Svitlana Shevchenko.
Supporting healthcare facilities remains one of our top priorities. We work to ensure that newborns, their mothers, and medical staff experience comfortable and reliable conditions in the maternity hospital.
