We work

Last week, an international forum dedicated to the evacuation of civilians and the protection of humanitarian workers in wartime took place in Switzerland.

Representatives of the Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation also joined the event.

The forum was organized by the Coordination Humanitarian Center within the framework of the volunteer insurance project “Hear Everyone II,” implemented with the support of Switzerland. The project aims to ensure protection and support for volunteers working in humanitarian organizations.

The event brought together around 80 representatives of Ukrainian and international organizations, as well as local authorities.

During the panel discussions, participants addressed:

-mechanisms for the evacuation of civilians;

-the work of rapid response teams following shelling;

-the role of local organizations in the recovery of affected communities.

Speakers from the Foundation included:

Serhii Chubukov, Chairman of the Supervisory Board:

“Supporting local organizations is the key to the swift and effective recovery of communities.”

Oleksandr Varyvoda, Head of International Relations and Partnerships Department:

“Closing operational gaps after shelling is not only about resources — it is about coordination, trust between partners, and the ability to act in critical moments.”

Such international meetings strengthen cooperation and highlight the importance of continued support for Ukraine, particularly in the field of evacuation efforts.
