Food parcels for elderly residents of the Bezdyk community

On September 25–26, the Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation, with the support of the United Nations World Food Programme, distributed food parcels in the Bezdyk community of Sumy region. Our team worked in the villages of Bezdyk and Tokari, where elderly residents received assistance.

A total of 1,078 boxes were delivered to people aged 60+. The parcels traditionally included staple food items: flour, cereals, oil, sugar, canned goods, and other essential products.

For many elderly people, this is not just food — it is a feeling of care and support from the community and the Foundation’s partners.

We continue working in frontline and affected communities to provide vital assistance to those in need.
