Constant shelling and explosions had become part of everyday life for Tetiana and her granddaughter in Kherson. Staying at home was becoming increasingly dangerous, so the family decided to leave.
As part of the “Step to Safety” project, the Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation, together with its partner Glovo, evacuated Tetiana and her granddaughter to Khmelnytskyi region. The journey from Kherson was around 700 kilometers, during which the Foundation’s team accompanied and supported the family.

“It is very difficult to leave your home, but what matters most is that my granddaughter is safe. I want her not to be afraid of explosions and to simply be able to live peacefully. We hope that we will feel safer in our new place. We sincerely thank Glovo and the Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation for their support and help with the evacuation,” said Tetiana.
The “Step to Safety” project helps families leave dangerous areas and reach places where they can feel safer.
