Access to drinking water remains limited in communities across the Kharkiv region, making continued support critically important.
Last week, the team of the charitable foundation the Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation organized the delivery and distribution of water for residents of the Malynivska, Prolisnenska, Pechenizka, and Balakliiska communities.
In total, 1,500 bottles of water (6 liters each) were delivered — that’s 9,000 liters of clean water for people’s daily needs.
For families, this is not just assistance, but an opportunity to meet a basic need and feel more stability in their everyday lives.
“When you have a запас of water, it’s less scary to plan your day. You know there’s enough at least for the essentials,” says Ms. Halyna.

The assistance is provided within the framework of the project “Leaving No One Behind — Multisectoral Emergency and Inclusive Support through Child Protection, Gender-Based Violence Response, and WASH Interventions for War-Affected Children and Families in Kharkiv Region.”
The project is implemented by four partner organizations — Terre des hommes Foundation in Ukraine, the Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation, NGO “League of Modern Women,” and CF “Development and Social Justice of Ukraine” — with the support of the Ukraine Humanitarian Fund (UHF).
