1,150 children received support from the mobile teams

Over the past three months, mobile teams of the the Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation have been making regular visits to the Bohodukhiv, Izium, and Shevchenkove communities in the Kharkiv region. Children aged 3 to 17 receive support from a psychologist, a speech therapist, and a social worker.

“The goal of this mobile work is to support and foster the development of children. This includes creating conditions for emotional relief, as well as developing speech, communication, imagination, and thinking skills. Our specialists also work with parents – involving them in the process and providing useful recommendations. These visits are especially important because frontline and border communities often lack narrow-profile specialists whom families can turn to on their own,” says Kateryna Vovk, project manager at the the Peaceful Heaven of Kharkiv Charitable Foundation.

In the course of three months, the specialists of the mobile teams have worked with 531 beneficiaries in the Bohodukhiv community, 365 in the Izium community, and 254 in the Shevchenkove community. In total, 1,150 children have received support and care from the specialists.
