It’s incredibly important to have a job, to realize yourself, to provide for the needs of your family, important for people who fall into the age category of 50 and above. The project is aimed at employing men and women in Kharkiv and the Kharkiv region who fall into the age category of 50 and above. They have lost their jobs as a result of the war in Ukraine, or have been forced to move to a safer place and leave everything including their work, homes, etc. It is more difficult for them to find a job due to the lack of modern competencies necessary for remote work, computer based work or work based on modern machines and equipment. Their knowledge and skills are often outdated. Moreover, they are not able to represent themselves. These people are very vulnerable due to some diseases and self-doubt. People 50 + on the territory of our region, more often, cannot apply their competencies to earn a decent salary, which was in pre-war life. This category is the least hired, as the priority is given to persons no older than 40 years. Businesses that could attract employees to work do not have the capital to resume work or development now. Remote work is not available to all people and it is not needed everywhere. Production enterprises, farms, food establishments require work at workplaces. Business needs employees and people need jobs and decent wages. The project allows to employ people who fall into the age category of 50 and above, raise their standard of living as well as to restore the work of enterprises and institutions. We are trying to return Kharkiv and the Kharkiv region to the usual level and quality of life, to provide IDPs, who have lost their jobs and who are returning home, with work.

According to experts' assessment, 17% of private and state-owned enterprises among large and medium ones were completely destroyed, 12.4% of small ones completely stopped their activities; almost stopped work - 24.6% worked partially - 33.2%. That is, only about 40% of small and micro-enterprises are working at full capacity. Such a situation negatively affected the business activity index, which decreased to 35%. As a result of such destruction, the risks to labor activity, the well-being of the working population and their family members increased.

In order to stay in the market during the war, companies are forced to review their costs 28% of employees of medium, small and micro businesses have been laid off, 18% have been sent on vacation and 22% have had their wages reduced.

The goal of the project is to employ people who fall into the age category of 50 and above to restore the quality of their lives, socialize IDPs, and make a positive impact on the region's economy.
